Mount Pisgah Christian Academy (MPCA) operates as a ministry of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. MPCA operates with a statement of faith consisting of Bible doctrines that will be taught and maintained. The Academy will assist parents in their responsibility (Deut. 6:6-7) of conforming their children into "the image of His Son" (Rom. 8:29). As the home, Church, and Academy work together, God's plan for each child will be discovered. Our entire Academy program is designed to help parents fulfill this command of God and to lead their children to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and continual growth in Him. The Bible is the basis for our education and is the foundation of the ministry of this Academy. Without God's Word, there can be no true learning.
(Colossians 1:9-10) “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”
Certainly these verses set the challenge of the task which is before each of us at Mount Pisgah Christian Academy. Although the task involves training of a material and academic nature, it is still basically a spiritual task when we keep in mind that our supreme goal is to bring each child to the place where he or she is glorifying God in all that they do.
MPCA is committed to providing the following for each student:

A program of Biblical training which will effectively instruct the student in our basic Christian Heritage and lead him to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

A superior academic program based upon problem-solving and meaningful experiences.

A program of Americanism which develops a real love of country based upon an
appreciation of our American Heritage and the Christian principles upon which our country was founded.
